Our story
The Company was founded in May 1971 by Roger Stephen Unwin as R S Heating Co and was originally solely for Domestic, Commercial and Industrial central heating. However, the demand to attach plumbing and the building works lead to changing the name to R S Heating and Building Co which is the trading title of Safetask Ltd., incorportated 3rd March 1988. The Company now concentrates on purely Domestic works.
We are approved service engineers for Vaillant, Worcester Bosch and Glow-Worm equipment. As a Which? Trusted Trader, you can trust that your plumbing, heating and building work is in capable, experienced hands.

Roger Stephen Unwin
Founder & director
Roger Unwin is an enthusiast within the industry. He was President of the Sheffield & District Master Plumbers Association in 1993, Regional President of the Association of Plumbing, Heating Contractors (APHC) in 1999, joining the Board of Directors in 2002. He was the APHC representative to the GCI - UICP which is the European Technical Contractors Committee for the construction industry. He is also an active member of the Huddersfield & District Master Plumbers Association.

The onsite work is coordinated by the very capable Foreman, Mr Peter Crookes, who has over 30 years experience.
